High blood pressure, physiologically (physically), is a result of the imbalance of the sympathetic nervous system producing cell membrane semi-rigidity so that the diameter of your blood vessels begin to “tension” (tense) and narrow (constrict).
The heart is pumping correctly, but because of the tension, the blood can’t get through like it used to and begins to back up in its flow. That raises the blood pressure. This is coming out of what is normally called the mind-body connection or we know as spirit-soul-body connections.
The thought that causes that mind-body connection to create an imbalance of the sympathetic nervous system, of which high blood pressure is a by-product, is found in one scripture. Let’s solve high blood pressure by getting to the truth of what’s causing it, because the truth shall make you free.
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:32 KJV
The scripture behind high blood pressure is this — Take no thought for tomorrow for tomorrow may never come.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:34 KJV
In the majority of case histories, high blood pressure can affect individuals who are stewing in their stuff about what can go wrong tomorrow. Some examples are:
- Mother-in-law coming to town
- Living with a mother-in-law
